Sealability of Gas Ball Valve

    There is a common valve in natural gas pipeline. Because of its special use situation, gas ball valve has higher requirements for sealing performance. How does it ensure its sealing performance?
    In the design of gas ball valve seat structure, there are usually two ways, such as self-release design of downstream valve seat and double piston effect design. For the first type of seat design, in its closed state, when the pipeline pressure acts on the outer surface of the upstream seat ring, it will press the seat to its sphere, and if the medium leaks from upstream to the inside of the valve cavity, when the pressure value of the valve cavity is higher than the downstream pipeline pressure, the downstream relevant seat will press the pressure of the valve cavity downstream and release it. If the second type of seat, under normal circumstances, its pressure is acting on the outer end of its seat seal ring, which will press its seal ring to its body to produce the corresponding squeezing force, so that a more reliable sealing structure can be formed between its seal ring and its body.
    Even if the valve seat has leaked, its pressure will directly enter the inner part of the valve body, directly act on the inner side of the upstream sealing surface, and produce extrusion force on the seat seal ring, so that the seat seal ring slowly approaches the valve body, thus forming a more reliable and effective sealing structure to ensure its sealing performance.
